New text box in SitesPlus

Good news – we’re updating our text box in SitesPlus, it now allows you to do all those things you’ve been asking for, like deleting images, re-sizing images and if you are clever, embedding video within SitesPlus. Read on for more details…

Image improvements
If you upload an image bigger than 500 pixels wide through the text box, the system will now automatically reduce it to a width of 500 pixels.

You can then re-size within image editor too.

Additionally, you can delete images from the editor to tidy up your folder.

To do any of this you need to right click  (or Ctrl+click on a Mac) on the image in the image folder  – it will then display a list of options for that image.

Source button
We’ve added in a new source button that allows you to embed html. This is not too exciting in itself, but you can now embed YouTube videos. This is an advanced technique and do email us if you need help performing this function.

Copy the code from YouTube under the button that says EMBED
Go into SitesPlus and click on source button  and paste in the YouTube embed code

We’ve also resolved the pdf upload issue and html  link issue – so now you can just upload your pdf s easily.

We do expect there to be some issues with this new system, so do email us on support@sitesplus.co.uk  if you come across any snags that we haven’t yet found.
