Just a quick couple of questions. Is there any way that an item listed could be archived and re-used at a later date? I sell rugs and only stock usually one at a time but should one be sold and I re-order ithe same item back into stock it means that I have to re-type the whole thing again. Any suggestions? Also whilst you are updating your site is it still able to be viewed by customers or does it show (site under review) or something and stop people visiting?

Hi there Sitesplus
Just wondered if the actual web-page displayed was going to be centralised? in order that there wasn’t a large white margin on the right hand side of the page? I chose a style which masked it a bit but if you choose a dark background to your text pages it shows up markedly.

Further to earlier e-mail I have found one ‘inconvenience’. There is a facility for post & packing for each item however this can be expensive and over charging if a customer wishes to buy more than one article or they want express delivery the charge would not be enough! I have managed to negotiate this problem by having a sales category – Postage Options. Most items do not have a p&p charge included but the item carries a note to the effect ‘Don’t forget to choose your postage option’. This enables customers to benefit from postage discounts on multiple purchases and it works!! Visit the site and see for yourself.

I am delighted with the new system. It has encouraged at least one customer to buy in multiple rather than one of one and it appears to have stimulated more visits to the site. Certainly the activity has increased since the shopping cart was introduced, early days yet but very pleasing. Long time coming but worth the wait, well done and thanks.
